About the AZHSWA

The Arizona High School Weightlifting Association is a Non-Profit Organization that was established to help develop Arizona High School athletes through the Sport of Weightlifting, and to provide an opportunity for interscholastic Weightlifting Competition and host an Arizona High School Weightlifting State Championship.

The Mission and Goals of the Arizona High School Weightlifting Association:

  • Increase Awareness of the Benefits of the “Olympic Lifts” for all Sports
  • Offer a Competitive Weightlifting Sports Season & State Championship
  • Provide Support & Funding for Arizona Weightlifters at National Events
